Samsung NS310 has not showed a lot of interest in their mini laptop line up this year, and have been churning out mini laptops with not-so-groundbreaking specs.
Keyboard on the NS310 is pretty amazing to type on, thanks to wide chiclet style full size keys. It is also backlit and has a pleasant blue color to it when used in low light conditions. The touchpad located below the keyboard supports multi touch gestures like a charm and we have no trouble using it.
The display on the NS310 is super bright (300 nits) but still packs WSVGA display, just like other 10.1 inch mini laptops in the market. Exterior is rubberized which prevents it from easily getting slipped from your hands. It is mere 25mm thick and due to its thinner form factor packs mere 2,250 mAh. Due to that, we were able to get mere 3 hours of rutime on a single charge.
- 10.1 inch display
- 1024 x 600 pixel resolution
- 320GB hard disk (5400 rpm)
- 1GB RAM

- 802.11n Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, LAN
- 3x USB 2.0 ports
- VGA, SD card slot
- Windows 7 Starter
Atom N550 surely helps in multitasking and delivers less jittery experience while watching YouTube videos. Overall, we found it to deliver similar performance as any other mini laptop in the market but has better keyboard and touchpad compared to its competitors.
