Asus X101H

Asus has finally made the much awaited Eee PC X101H in US, India and Europe. With the Asus X101H, the company has created the cheapest Eee PC mini laptop with hard disk. To bring the price to 240 (Rs 12,500), Asus had to made some interesting decisions. First is the use of cheaper and new low powered Atom N435 processor.

Asus sells the X101h with either Windows 7 or Meego operating system. As mentioned in cross-coretech’s Asus X101h review, you are suggested to go for the Meego model to save some money.

There are quite a few differences between the Asus X101 and X101h. First is the difference between the storage. X101 comes with SSD (8GB), while X101h comes with hard disk. There is no VGA port on X101 (it is present on X101h). Last but not the least, you will have almost no storage left after installing windows 7 on the X101 while X101h’s big hard disk allows you to run windows 7 without any problems.
