Asus 1025 is the latest mini laptop by the Korean giant that makes use of the new Atom N2600 / N2800 processors. Asus will be bundling the Eee PC 1025 with both Windows 7 Starter OS as-well-as an Instant on OS. In instant on mode, you will be able to keep it in stand by mode for a massive 2 weeks and when used normally, you will be able to get up to 14 hours of runtime on a single charge.
The Eee PC 1025 is much sleeker than any Asus mini laptop (including their new Asus 1015B) produced so far and despite its thinness, it still manages to pack in 3x USB ports (including 1x USB 3.0), Asus smart camera that supports 4x zoom. For those who do not know, USB 3.0 is capable of transferring data at up to 10 times faster than a typical USB 2.0 port.
Surprisingly, Asus has somehow managed to squeeze in both HDMI and VGA ports. Other specs include Bluetooth 3.0 and 802.11n Wi-Fi radios as well.
There is no information on its price or when this mini laptop will be made public.
